This is a well-made biopic about Chilean greatest singer and folklore composer Violeta Parra. The film illustrates with emotion the turmoil that Violeta’s life must have been like. She was passionate and wild about her art as well as in her life. The film celebrates her art and her struggle to keep alive the roots of Chilean folklore and gives a profound testimonial of the dramas that she experiences throughout her life.
